A Karaganda Pensioner Makes his Choice...

Dear Akezhan Magzhanovich:

My name is Orlov Alexander Mitrofanovich, and I am going to vote for you in the upcoming elections for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I have been a Karaganda resident ever since 1947, or over half a century now. Much as other folks in Karaganda, I am concerned to have a worthy leader presiding over the construction of our democratic society. We, common people, are keen if just for a modicum of justice; as is invariably the case now, the authorities fail to match their words with actions.

Since I have my confidence in you as a future President, I have a candid desire to help you assume that post.

The election campaign being, in terms of history, only a brief span of time, I am truly eager to assist you in accomplishing that and thus improving the lot of each and every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

I would like you, Akezhan Magzhanovich, to provide me with some of your promotional campaign materials I could then post in Karaganda, Temirtau, Shakhtinskoye, Sarani, and Abai, and I will use whatever legal channels there are to facilitate your election as President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yours sincerely,  Orlov Alexander Mitrofanovich
